5. A Growing Movement - Acts 16 - Open or Closed?

All of us have likely experienced a locked door. It can be humorous, frustrating, comforting, and confusing depending on the circumstances. Spiritually there are times where we find what seem to be closed doors. Moments and opportunities we hoped would come, but God seems to have other plans about. When these closed door moments happen, what is your typical response? Obedience and patience? Frustration and confusion? Whatever it is, my prayer is that we as believers can learn to trust God in His good pleasing and perfect plans. Paul and his ministry team faced a solidly closed door in Acts 16, where they tried to enter Asia for ministry, but God needed them to go to Europe. I am sure there was frustration and confusion for Paul, but because of his trust of God it was made clear pretty quickly that God wanted to move in another direction. This direction was full of open doors for ministry that sparked movement and encouragement into the church even to our current time. When God says no, listen. When God says go, listen. When we listen it is AMAZING what He will do.
