#5: Ask Coach - Health Insurance For Entrepreneurs and Early Retirement

from Real Estate Investing with Coach Carson · host Chad Carson

Episode #5: Is health insurance keeping you at a job for security? As a real estate entrepreneur, I've been self-employed for 16+ years, and here's what my family and I do for health insurance. UPDATE AS OF 1/2019: Since recording this video, our family also considered lower-cost alternatives to the ACA ("Obamacare") exchange like catastrophic health insurance coverage that does not meet ACA requirements. With the revoking of the "individual mandate" in the 2017 tax reform, this option has become more attractive because we use medical care so rarely and earn too much to receive subsidies. But for now, we're sticking with the Obamacare exchange at $1,280/mo for a family of 4 on a bronze plan. -------------------------- 🙂 If you want to support the show, here are some easy ways: 1) Leave an iTunes review: https://coachcarson.com/itunes 2) Subscribe to my email newsletter at https://www.coachcarson.com/newsletter/ 3) Most importantly, find your friends, coworkers, and family members who may be open to this message and tell them about the podcast!
