5. Bambi
from Of Mice & Princesses Hosted by Anni
Krissi is back to talk with me about Bambi - finally a movie she liked! This one is really educational - we learn a lot about deer, discover the real meaning behind the word "twitterpated" and compare the English and German versions a lot. Also, this one breaks Dumbo's record of us saying something or someone is cute. And as always - we have a ton of fun and hope you join us! And since this topic is just as relevant as it was weeks ago, even if people aren't posting black squares on instagram anymore, here are some resources to turn to, to educate yourself and support the BLM movement: https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/ - The most common and helpful place to turn to https://blog.govolunteer.com/8-tipps-wie-du-dich-gegen-rassismus-engagieren-kannst/ - A very helpful guide for our German listeners https://www.amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de/was-wir-gegen-rassismus-tun-koennen-58741/ - A great German foundation to support that not only strives to fight racism, but also has some other projects to battle e.g. gender inequality and support victims of hate crimes.
