It’s World Kindness Day on Thursday, 13 November and actually, we’re making it WorldKindness Week right here on 5 Breakfast. So, all week, we’re on a mission to find the kindest South Africans; the people doing good not for likes, but because it’s the right thing to do. The big gestures, the small surprises, and the random acts of kindness that remind us that ubuntu still lives here. Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre is a non-profit based in Westlake, Cape Town, established in 2015 by Hugh Ingpen (and Lydia Ingpen) to serve children in a community where many are excluded from school or suffer educational, social or emotional disadvantage.
