#5 - Erik Podzuweit (Scalable Capital) - Soaring across the Wealth Management landscape

In this episode, I speak to Erik, who lets us in on the great adventure he’s having with Scalable Capital, which is soon to be Europe's leading digital investment platform. In 2014, he and his co-founders created this online WM firm in Germany. We learn about the evolution of their offering, from their original positioning to the robo-advisor and recently their neobroker offering. Erik is a former banker at Goldman Sachs and shares a great anecdote about his success and how it all started. We find out why Scalable Capital joined forces with Baader Bank and what approvals they needed from Bafin and the Bundesbank.
