Pro-Russian western people love to use 'tradition Christian values' when they argue their position. They mistakenly presume that what these values mean must be the same both for them and for Russians. This episode should clear any such delusions, because to the vatniks, they are no better than everyone else - in fact, western conservatives should abhor Russian 'traditional values' more than anyone else, as vatniks prefer their God-Emperor and Imperrium over, you know, Jesus. To the point that even the Orthodox Church itself - the proper one, that exists outside Russia - considers them blasphemers.
