5: Finding religious tolerance: the past, the present and the future.

from Our Wellbeing Podcast

As I post this episode at about 2 am Monday 6th June 2022. This weekend two men were going to be burnt for blasphemy in Abuja. Based on the news [going around], one was successfully burnt, and Okada riders rescued the other. Early on Sunday morning, a catholic church in Owo Ondo state was attacked. Some say it was a bomb, but the videos on Twitter show people with bullet wounds in the pool of their blood and that of their co-worshippers. The question is, how do we move forward? In this episode, I discuss the past, present, and future of religious tolerance with Ayomide Mariam; and how we can draw hope for the future from the way Britain is secular today [even though they once were host to Christian religious extremists].
