5 "High Leverage" Activities To Accelerate Your Fitness Results | MTFP Ep.107
from The More Than Fitness Podcast With Matt McLeod · host Matt McLeod
The utility behind the idea of "leverage" is that it's a force multiplier for your efforts, skills, and judgment. Without leverage, your input matches your output in a 1:1 relationship. With leverage, you can multiply the output of that relationship almost ad infinitum. To give a clear example, we can use this podcast episode and imagine "the Internet" as our source of leverage. Without the Internet, I'd have to have this singular conversation with each individual person. Sure, I could maybe fill up a large room of people and speak to more people that way. But with the Internet as leverage, I can reach as many people that have access to WiFi (i.e., billions). So in this episode, I relate this concept to fitness and explain 5 ways you can increase your input-to-output ratio by using high leverage activities to accelerate your progress. Hope it helps!
