5 | In The Beginning

Before there was anything else, there was God. In this message, “In The Beginning,” Pastor Adam takes us on a journey through Scripture to discover something profound about the presence and work of the Spirit of God—from the opening pages of Genesis to the throne room of Revelation. The Spirit was there in the beginning, hovering over the waters. He is the breath that gives life, the One who creates and renews, the Spirit who brings freedom and transforms us from one degree of glory to another. And as Scripture unfolds, we see the story pointing us toward Christ; the Word who was with God in the beginning, through whom all things were made, and in whom is life and light that darkness cannot overcome. But the Spirit who was present at creation is not distant from us today. He is still bringing life, renewal, wisdom, freedom, and transformation to His people. And we are called to walk with Him in a way that builds up the church, reflects the character of Christ, and brings glory to God. Listen in as we explore creation, the Spirit of God, the Word, spiritual gifts, renewal, and the life-giving presence of God, and consider what it means to live as people shaped by the God who was there in the beginning.
