We live as people of hope in a world dying without it. The more we understand the power of the hope that lives within us the more urgency we have to be a point of contact between Jesus and the broken world around us. Peter wrote us a letter explaining that we are on a Mission of Hope (1) As we love and are loved; (2) As God’s own people; (3) In whatever setting we find ourselves; (4) When we suffer; (5) Because we live differently; (6) As agents of God’s grace; (7) In humility; (8) To the very end. This is life-changing not merely for us, but for those around us. In this sermon, Luke Parker takes us through the living hope that the eternal love of Christ gives us, and how that hope alters our interaction with the world around us.
