He was associate producer and cinematographer for the feature-length documentary, “⁠⁠Revival: The Work of God⁠⁠,” and he has earned accolades for his ⁠⁠documentary photography⁠⁠ work on autism. Tavis is a Navy veteran, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and he holds an MDiv from The Masters Seminary and both a Masters and PhD from Durham University in Biblical Studies.
