5: Kouri Richins Googled 'Signs of Being Under Federal Investigation'

On the recent episode of Murder in the Morning, Tony Brueski and Stacy Cole discuss the intriguing case of Kouri Richins, a Utah mother and children's book author accused of murdering her husband. Richins allegedly poisoned her husband with fentanyl and reportedly Googled phrases related to luxury prisons and life insurance payouts post his death, which her defense attorney argues were in response to the investigation. Prosecutors claim Richins took out life insurance policies on her husband totaling $1.9 million and had recently changed the beneficiary to herself.
