5. Liar, Liar: Your Performance Is Your Identity

This weekend we conclude our series called “Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire.” We are exposing the lies the Devil tells us and answering those lies with the truth of God's Word. This weekend we look at the lie Satan tells that our identity is based on our behavior or actions. There are several lies packaged within this train of thought. First, He would like us to believe that the way others see us is who we are. He would also like us to buy into the idea that our failures define us. Lastly, he wants you and me to believe that we’ve gone too far to be loved, healed or restored. Have you heard any one of these lies?
