5. MISSION CRITICAL: What Are Disciple Makers?

This weekend we continue in our Fall Campaign called MISSION CRITICAL. We continue to work through our new mission statement which is; We are a Church on mission to raise up Disciplemakers who share the gospel where we live, work, and play. This week we focus on the second step which involves Discipleship. The question we will answer this weekend is, what is a Disciplemaker. We recognize that Jesus was on a mission to raise up Disciples who would make more Disciples. We call these people Disciplemakers. They are Disciples who are following Jesus and are able to teach others to follow Jesus too. This should be the goal of your life as a Christian. You should be working to become a follower of Jesus who can teach someone else to follow Him as well. If you make it your aim to reach this level of maturity then God will help you get there. You must be willing but if you are willing, God will bring people into your life that you can disciple. I hope you will join us this weekend as we dig deeper into what Jesus modeled in his time here on earth which was making Disciplemakers.
