Therefore, a lot of them are getting very old. When lead and copper start to erode, they release small particles in the water which can lead to kidney failure, brain damage and other sickness. To keep the population healthy and protect the environment, the United States environmental protection agency put a limit on the PPM of contaminants in water. To respect this limit operation and maintenance spending has increased drastically over the last decades. However, investments in infrastructures remain stagnant and are even starting to decrease. Once the USA realizes that this is not a sustainable practice, they will start investing and infrastructure which will be a great opportunity for H2O Innovation to shine. The American water works association estimates that at least 1 trillion dollars will be poured into underground pipes restoration, and that doesn’t include new infrastructure or water treatment plants repairing.   In conclusion, I think H2o is a solid company that will prove its value even more as we realize the urgency of our situation when it comes to water. I’m going to wait a little bit before buying some shares because their price almost tripled since March and I want to let it cool down a bit.
