5% Series: Sis. Sharqueen X, "A Sister's Travels in the 14th Degree & Beyond"

The 5 PERCENTERS FORUM presents: An INTERVIEW with Sis. Sharqueen X A SISTER'S TRAVELS IN "THE 14TH DEGREE" (M.G.T. & G.C.C.) Born and raised in The Bronx, NY, Sis. Sharqueen X received 'knowledge of self' in Mecca (Harlem) and became an Earth and joined the 5% Nation of Islam in the late 1970s. Initially building in the 5% ciphers in Mecca, Sharqueen eventually connected with the Earths of Pelan (The Bronx) and became a very close Sister to Queen Shavasia Earth and others. In the pivotal history of the 5% Nation in the 1980s, the Earths were recognized by many as "the Backbone of the Nation", and lived up to this decree. Sis. Sharqueen took her place alongside many of the Great Sisters of the 5% Nation who taught "the Earth Sciences" or "the Meaning of M.G.T. & G.C.C." as the knowledge spread and they educated young Brothers & Sisters throughout NYC. Sis. Sharqueen used her skills, talents and resources and became the Chief Editor of a groundbreaking magazine "The 14th Degree & Beyond: The Mother of Civilization" which was dedicated to the teachings of the 5% Nation pertaining to the Black Woman in Islam. Sis. Sharqueen will walk us through her travels as an Earth in the 5% Nation of the 1980s and 1990s, and how she became one of those who would serve a purpose by fulfilling history as some of the 5% who added on to the NOI as F.O.I. & M.G.T. to serve a great purpose in the Nation of Islam, of which Sis. Sharqueen did in 2007, becoming a M.G.T. of Mosque No. 7 in Mecca (Harlem), under Min. Abdul Hafeez Muhammad, who also came from the 5% Nation and is the New York Representative of the Hon. Min.
