5 Things to Know About Evan Beerntsen

The Baltimore Ravens finalized their 2026 draft by selecting Evan Beerntsen, an experienced offensive lineman from Northwestern, in the seventh round. This versatile athlete spent six years in college, primarily playing right guard while winning two national titles at the FCS level before moving to the Big Ten. Although he is an older rookie who will turn 26 early in his first season, his physicality and run-blocking skills made him a standout prospect during the East-West Shrine Bowl. Team officials value his toughness and grit, viewing him as a high-potential addition to their interior line depth. While most of his career starts were at guard, the team believes he has the potential to develop into an NFL center.
