5 Types of People to Keep at a Distance, Limiting Access for your Well-being | A Chat on Mental Wellness

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

5 Types of People to Keep at a Distance, Limiting Access for your Well-being | A Chat on Mental Wellness I'll be sharing my views on the 5 types of people to keep at a distance, to better support your well-being.   One of the first of life's many lessons is that not everyone you meet has the best of intentions, and it's always best to rise above the situation. That said, sometimes, we can save ourselves a world of grief by simply paying attention to the signals, and making the choice to keep our distance.   As adults the one thing we do have control over is who we give our time to, as well as for how long. How people feel inclined to treat you, whether you're present or not, is a strong indicator of how much time (if any at all), you give them.   There are many parts of life that we have no control over, relationships are not one of them - make a point to invest in relationships that nourish you, challenge you and support your growth.   #MentalWellness #ProtectYourEnergy #RiseAbove #LimitAccess  #Mindfulness #ProtectYourLight #AtArmsLength #KeepYourDistance   #MentalWellness #MaintainingDistance #ToxicRelationships   *RESOURCES*  - How To Best Deal with Toxic Competition in Life: https://www.cellblocklegendz.com/How-To-Best-Deal-With-Toxic-Competition-In-Life_c_281.html   - 13 signs your friendship with someone is toxic: https://www.businessinsider.com/signs-your-friendship-is-toxic-2018-2   - How to Deal with Rejection (for those that we choose to keep out of our lives): https://www.psychalive.org/how-to-deal-with-rejection/   For all topics related to renewing and rebuilding family, communities and relationships, check out our blogs!  We post bi-weekly:  https://www.spe-projectpurpose.com/blogs   Make sure to come visit us, subscribe to the website, and join our Member's Area for more valuable content:   *SOCIALS*  Website: www.spe-projectpurpose.com   Facebook Page: @ProjectPurposeSPE  Instagram: @ProjectPurposeSPE or my personal account @realistrae  Twitter: @Purpose_SPE  Pinterest: @ProjectPurposeSPE   YouTube: Project Purpose SPE If you'd like to read my research thesis, "ADHD: Is it a Social Construct or does it have a Neurophysiological Basis?" you can find it at the following address: https://rachellerealist.wordpress.com.   I'm more than happy to answer your questions, feel free to send an email to: [email protected]  The pre-recorded parent-child workshops are on the way for children between the ages of 4-8; 9-13; and 14-17.   Be sure to subscribe to the website to know once they have been released!   Do you like the intro/outro music?  Check out the artist on Spotify:  Artist Name: Valdii Song Name: I Learn
