Talking Tactics Episode 50 was taken down for copyright reasons, but there was an important segment in the show we've always intended to re-post; one regarding black footballers, and incidents of cardiac arrest. Recorded the day after the death of former Ivory Coast international and Newcastle United star Cheick Tioté (aged 30), Carl and Daniel spoke about why we see these incidents, and why they happen with particular consistencies. Nigerian footballer Isaac Promise (aged 31) passed away this Wednesday due to a cardiac related incident, and spurred the motivation to re-post this segment of our show. Our condolences to the families of athletes (both the well-known and the not so well-known) who have passed due to heart failure, and hopefully from this small conversation you are inspired/encouraged to do more research on the topic.
