#50 Brokenness: Secondhand Christianity (Phinney)

Secondhand Christianity clearly reveals that people with PRIDE classically believed they are Christian because they do nice things and are helpful. The problem is, their “doing” is mostly an attempt to prove something they don’t have – True Salvation. People of HUMILITY and brokenness recognize the foolishness and futility of further resistance and choose to believe and obey the indwelling life of Jesus. This is a public episode.
