#50: Diabetic Iron Man with Jack Anderson.

In this week’s episode of The insuleoin Podcast, Eoin chats with Jack Anderson (@jackptuk).Jack is a Type 1 Diabetic from Bristol in the UK, and was diagnosed back in 2015. Jack comes from a very sporty background and like most Diabetics, his diagnosis came as a massive shock.Jack admittedly didn’t manage his Diabetes too well in the beginning, and didn’t prioritise his health as much as he should have. All that soon changed, fast forward a few short years and Jack is now a Personal Trainer and proudly keeps his health at the top of his list each day.Just this year Jack completed his first Iron Man (2.4 mile swim, 112 miles cycle, 26.2 mile run). His aim for this challenge was to prove to himself, and other Diabetics out there that Diabetes shouldn’t stop you from achieving great things.As always, be sure to rate, comment, subscribe and share.
