Antonina Robles, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager at HP in Boise, Idaho, has a remarkable journey from working in the fields of Idaho to becoming a prominent figure in STEM. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University, Antonina's story is one of perseverance and passion. Growing up in Mexico, moving to Idaho at the age of 10, and starting work in the fields at 13, Antonina's parents instilled in her the importance of education. At 17, she transitioned from the fields to an internship at HP, where she discovered her love for STEM and became "SHPEnotized." Her dedication to SHPE began during her university days and has continued to grow. From serving as the National Student Representative to becoming SHPE’s National Affairs Committee Chairwoman and mentoring in the Equipando Padres program, Antonina's commitment to the organization is unwavering. In this episode, Antonina shares her unique perspective as a working professional, a mother of five daughters, and a leader in DEI.
