(500) DAYS OF SUMMER Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Joseph Gordon-Levitt | Zooey Deschanel

Michael & Brandon react to 500 Days of Summer (2009), a non-linear romantic drama that follows Tom as he reflects on his relationship with Summer, revisiting the highs, heartbreaks, and mismatched expectations that defined their time together. Told out of order, the film explores love versus perception, idealization, and the reality of emotional incompatibility. This reaction stands out for its relatable themes, unique storytelling structure, and discussion-worthy moments, as Michael & Brandon experience the film’s emotional shifts, iconic scenes, and character perspectives in real time. Directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, Gifted, Snow White, Why Women Kill, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), the film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Looper, 10 Things I Hate About You, Don Jon), Zooey Deschanel (New Girl, Elf, Yes Man, Bridge to Terabithia, Almost Famous), Geoffrey Arend (Body of Proof, Madam Secretary, The Ringer, Super Troopers, Trust Me), Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In, Carrie, The Equalizer, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), and Clark Gregg (The Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Thor), bringing together a cast tied to major franchises, beloved TV series, and widely recognized performances that continue to drive strong reaction and crossover audience appeal. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
