Die neue Förderung beinhaltet auch die Unterstützung des Ausbaus der E-Ladeinfrastruktur in privaten Wohngebäuden. Hierfür sollen 500 Millionen Euro bereitgestellt werden. Die Förderung umfasst den Einbau von Ladestationen / Wallbox, Photovoltaikanlagen und Stromspeichern als Gesamtpaket. Dieses Programm ist für den Herbst 2023 geplant. Zusätzlich sind weitere 400 Millionen Euro für den Aufbau von Schnellladeinfrastruktur und den Netzanschluss von gewerblich genutzten Pkw vorgesehen.
