501 - Who invented Heavy Metal and did Punk come first?

Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for episode 501 of the Chasing Tone Podcast!Brian and Blake question Richard's genetics and open up discussing the spectacular 500th episode and Travis gets the blame for everything as we take a fascinating (not) look into the world of podcast production. Richard has DIY questions so Blake take a nap and Brian gives us all some tips on safety at the soldering station. What is it that differentiates Metal from the other genres? Is it the tones or is it the riffs?  The guys try and figure it out but largely go off in different tangents.  The conversation stays heavily focused on the music that we all grew up to and there are various points of interest.
