Will Friedwald is a champion of jazz, the great American Song sand the great men and women who sing them. He is the author of 10 books, including Sinatra! The Song is You, Stardust Melodies, and most recently Straighten Up and Fly Right: The Life and Music of Nat King Cole. He also writes about music and popular culture for The Wall Street Journal and Vanity Fair. Friedwald has written the liner notes for more than 600 CDs.
