Ardal is one of the pioneers of Irish stand-up, starting the Comedy Cellar in Dublin, 25 years ago. Most well known for his role as "Fr Dougal" in Father Ted, Ardal brought his stand-up show to the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh during the Fringe this year to prepare for his upcoming UK tour which starts on September 11th and comes to Ireland in October. We talk to him about his new show, starting out in comedy, the 25th anniversary of the Comedy Cellar and being an author.
