Pursuing your passion is a nice to have, but not many get to do that.” I’m sure you heard something similar from your own parents, while growing up.This is what David was told by his immigrant father when he expressed his love for drawing as a career option. There were several unforgettable moments in my conversation with David Fano, formerly Chief Product and Growth Officer at WeWork and now Founder of Teal HQ, a startup made to help job seekers. “I loved building, but didn’t necessarily love buildings.” - After he completed his Architecture studies and began working. “I’m a better starter than finisher.”- When we talked about his deeper decision to leave WeWork. What I love is that David is following his north star, which tells him you NEED to be happy at work, no matter what anyone tells you. His mission is now helping job seekers and professionals with tools and frameworks to do just that.
