#51 Exploring Religion, Witches, Forests & Finances With Kristin Holden

from Unruly Podcast | Travel, Activism & Alternative Culture · host Calen Otto - Travel Writer & Activist

Our guest today, Kristin Holden, was sick of the 9-5 life when a friend suggested to her that she move into a van. Although she scoffed at the idea for herself initially, she couldn't get that little beckoning voice out of her head. Over a period of time she transitioned her in-person job to online, sold her home and most of her belongings, and moved into a van with her two dogs. Her story is a unique one - filled with talk of religion and witches, forests and finances - and we get to hear about how being a queer lesbian intersects with living the van life. In addition, Kristin shares her expert advice with Calen on financial questions. "On top of wanting to travel, I felt this calling into the wilderness. Into a place where I could be at peace." - Kristin Holden Kristin's budget & remote working templates: https://www.wheretheroadforks.net/shop Kristin's Venture X referral link: https://capital.one/3IHaLkq Find Kristin on IG: https://www.instagram.com/wheretheroadforks__/ Queers in the Country article: https://wanderwoman.online/index.php/2022/05/05/queers-in-the-country/ Queers in the Country reel: https://www.instagram.com/p/CdL1oRGJzqT/ Buy the Unruly Travel Guide: wanderwoman.online/index.php/unrulystore/ Sign up for email alerts: landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/x2y0l9
