Stephen Perchikov is an expert in scalable personalization, and he discusses how technology can be used to amplify the work of recruiters. He explains that in today's world, automated messages are a turn-off, and that personalization is key to maintaining intimacy with potential candidates. In order to be successful in social selling and growing one's LinkedIn audience, it is important to focus on outbound outreach and content. Positioning is key, and it is important to choose a niche and focus on becoming the go-to market leader in that niche. The conversation began with a discussion of the importance of niche marketing, and how it can be used to improve the effectiveness of outbound messaging. The idea of scalable personalization was introduced as a way to make messages more personalized without sacrificing scale.
