51 - Sinners (TEASER)

In this week’s teaser, we discuss Sinners, the genre-bending horror/musical/character study that gave the masses hope for new original movies that are … good!? But do the Doggett brothers agree with the unwashed masses? Listen to find out as we review this Hollywood horror hit. We talk a bit about Michael B. Jordan’s performance(s), discuss why this movie is so unique (and successful), and touch on the technical aspects of shooting Jordan for dual roles. We also get an astronomy lesson from Drew, wonder about the film’s poorly communicated vampire lore, and poke holes in some important plot elements of this film. Plus, we discuss the hottest scene in the movie. You know the one … (Spoiler alert: it involves spitting.) Sinners is a 2025 horror film produced, written, and directed by Ryan Coogler. It stars Michael B. Jordan, Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O'Connell, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, and Omar Benson Miller.
