畫說漢字/圖解《說文解字》/1000個漢字的故事/東漢許慎原著脖（bó）“脖”字由两部分组成，左边为“肉”（月），右边为“孛”。在甲骨文中，“孛”字下边是一个人形，上边是头发。小篆文中，“孛”字的上边发生讹变。因为“孛”字是“勃”字的本字，所以读音为bó。左边“肉”（月）表明其与肉体有关。“脖”字的本义是肚脐，元朝以来，才引申为脖子。现代社会因为电脑运用越来越广泛，与脖子相关的职业病如颈椎病等也越来越流行。（原本是指肚脐，现在指连接头部与身体的脖颈。）
