Originally from southern Australia, Bec is now resident in London where she produces the bi-monthly "Pun Run". She also impresses on the live circuit with her unique brand of stand-up and story-telling, often incorporating “arts and craft” elements such as cartoons and sketches into her routines. This year she brought two shows to Edinburgh - "Bec by Popular Demand" and "Tom and Bec's Awesome Laundry". She'll be bringing "Bec by Popular Demand" and "Pun Run" to the Belly Laughs Festival in Belfast on Sept 28th and 29th. Christian talks to her about how she started in comedy, copyrighting cartoons, getting engaged onstage and breakdancing in ballgowns.
