52: Being The Lonely Only

On this episode of Diversity and Inclusion on Air, Jeremy Coleman, an African American student at Western University of Health Sciences talks about his journey to veterinary school and the unique barriers he faced as a man of color. Jeremy is the only Black male student in his cohort, and he is one of only 71 Black men currently enrolled in veterinary school in the US. He talks about what this experience is like as he makes his way into the veterinary profession.
