You can pick any Girl-Scater from their history. So you can pick current skaters, you can pick old skaters, and we're basically picking our top five. But the way it works is only five spots on the team. So we all have to agree on five.
We're all gonna have our own five. They're probably not gonna be the same, and we're gonna have to cut some deals and just hash it out. Let's play the theme tune and we'll get stuck in. There you run, Dodds.
You want an Ash, your girl picky. We're all ready to pick our All-Stars squad for Girls Gateboards. Should we just go straight in, mate? I'll go to my first pick.
Yeah, go on. So, my first pick is Eric Costen. I don't think you can have a Girls Gateboard without Eric Costen. He is one of the greatest skaters of all time.
He's got to be on the team. So, my first pick, I'm going for Eric Costen. Jon, if you've got Eric Costen on your list? I've got Costen on my list.
So it looks like, Will, you got Costen on your list? I have Costen on my list. So Costen is the number one pick. He's in.

I'm going to go with Mike Mo, just an icon of my generation of skateboarding. Yeah, fully flared being one of my first videos. I know it's not a Gill video, but it may as well be background champion and still standing boards, even though he's got a power line for it. What more do you need?

Erm, rank mate. Rick Macrank. He is, he is underrated. Rick Macrank is, again, he was in that old school era.
He was kind of, you know, young when, you know, when the likes of, his kurt chart were kind of just going into that next level of being, you know, top, top dog. Macrank was coming in at that point. So he, you know, he's a bit younger than all these other boys, you know, likes of Carol and Howard and everything. But yeah, for me, he was just one of my, you know, one of the skaters I always liked, you know, when he'd say I'm a 4-1-1, you were happy to see him have an all day in life or, you know, that sort of spotlight on him.
So, yeah, he's on mine, which makes no difference, really. So, let's, let's run down the list of what we've got on the score at the moment, because we do all the time, we've got a couple of folks on the score, Eric Costland, Mike Carroll, Alex Olsman and Brian Anderson, right? Now, I'm going to put it out there. I think we are allowed now at this point to reflect on the whole squad as a squad and see, see who's going to say and who's going to go.
Because I think we can do that. We're allowed to do that. Because otherwise we're fucking ourselves because we've got Jamie Thomas, not, you know, not anymore. Because I'm just talking, I'm just saying that because you brought up, you brought up P-Rod, yep.
If we're talking all stars and we can't, if we're not putting P-Rod into this team, that's all I'm saying. And I know I voted for Alex Olsman, but I could easily wipe out Alex Olsman's thick P-Rod in there. Tell you what guys, this is just me giving out there. I've seen P-Rod operate in the flesh when just before the P-Rod 2's come out and fucking hell.
Obviously, I know both of you guys have seen Pro Skate and when you see Pro Skate, it gives you a bit more of an understanding, but fucking hell mate. It's something else. I think it's a Jonny. Jonny, what you saying?
You're happy taking the AP taking Alsman out there to put P-Rod in. If we want to win this game, right, so we're up against the zero all stars, how are we going to beat him? Is Alex Olsman really going to get us a free pointer? No.

Let's do it because that's the spirit of the All-Stars team, isn't it? Well, if I just pop it in for that, it'll be eight. So, yeah. Yeah.

So P-Rod's into Eric Coste, Mike Carroll, P-Rod and Brian Anderson. That's a good team. It's a pretty good team. Yeah.
And the only exception that I still think we need to consider, there's probably two people that we need to consider to put in this team, is Guy Mariano and Brandon Beeball. That's what I'm saying. If you don't want to consider it, we can declare, and we can, we can kind of say this was a fairly good, clean operated, Googles Stars and we've got to the end of it. But I'm just, I'm just want to linger on that.
The fact that Guy Mariano and Brandon Beeball aren't in the Googles Stars team. Yeah, but we do have cost in low. Who are you going to get rid of before? I'm just putting out there.
I'm just putting out there that Guy Mariano isn't in this squad. Yeah, I'm playing Brandon can stay on the side, on the side for this one, because we've got enough, we've got enough good tech in there and we've got a little bit of power. But Guy, he's got some stuff some of the other guys haven't, and a little bit more, a bit of Trany in there as well maybe. But guys got the old school.
So, so, so. See, the only person he can, you can go instead of, well, there's two options here. There's two options. And you know the options I'm going to present to you.
We can either get rid of Mike Carroll, right? And then you, you do the classic. Jamie Thomas move where you put him and Rick Howard is joint team managers, right? That's a cop out.
Or we get rid of Brian Anderson, because he's not here with Kate or anyway, he didn't even skate girl boards. Oh, fuck. Well, it's, Mike Carroll and Guy, like you think about both of them. Mike Carroll for me, just the first thing I think about is like, I really, but do I think, when I think about Guy, do I really straight way think of go?

Where do you, you know, what? I feel like Mike Carroll is more girl than Guy Mariano is. Yeah, too. And what my thoughts on Guy Mariano are the same as costume.
They're turncoat, country, at the end of the day, and they left. They did leave and that is bang out of order. So to put a mini-all star squad, kind of clean traitors. That's where I'm coming from.
Yeah. I think costume is costume. Caution gets away with it. I think with Guy Mariano, I don't think he gets away with it as much.
He gets his redemption through girl. He just fucking leaves. Yeah. At least costume put in the hours.
Well, that's not saying Guy didn't. You can't have a girl all star scene without costume. Mike Mo, you have to, I think you have to put him in there for how kind of like, how he just explodes onto the scene and everyone loved him. So you can't like, for the short period of time, the short career that you kind of had compared to say like a costume or a carol.
He's had probably just a big impact on a certain generation. Those are boys really. So Mike Mo can't be moved. He is in cement.
You know what I mean? Yeah. Brian Aniston is a bit of a dodgy one just because he obviously skated for that company, but we all know that he actually didn't skate their boards. He broke them all the time and then skated anti-air boards.
So again, is that like someone wearing a main night kit and then having a man's seat shirt underneath it? Well, he's not on my list, but BA can stay if you want. But is he a trade off? Is he worth trading for Brandon or Guy?
The only person I would want him to trade off probably is Brandon Beebell. If I'm going to break this down because I think he is a true girl and I do think a girl skateboard is when I think of Brandon Beebell. That's all I'm saying. I'm happy with Brian Aniston because I picked him.
Brian Aniston is such a one of my favourite skaters of all time that I want him to be on there. And he's yeah, right part was brilliant as well. I watched that video all the time. Yeah.
Well, maybe let's just concrete it out then. I think we leave it at that. He got two votes and he got in. Well, I'll trade off.
We can't be traded everywhere off. Maybe people's on a sub-bench. Yeah. I like that.
Yeah. So then we've got Rick Howard as the team manager. That's fair as well. Yeah.
Okay. Well, I think we're pretty happy with that then boys. I suppose we've got a few more favourites in the zero camp that we wanted to get into. Whereas, girl, I think there's a fair few more to short-fire that have to get in there.
There's no Garrett Hill or John Retreat to muddy the water in this one. So, yeah. So we'll declare the team. So Eric Gosstin, Mike Mo, Mike Carroll, poor Jigas, Brian Aniston as a girl all stars.
