52. The Tuscan Life With Lisa Brancatisano

We had a delightful time with Lisa on a rainy day in Florence via Zoom. While we Las Vegans love getting any drop of rain, Lisa prefers the sunny days when she’s running around town. We felt like we gained a new friend to visit when we’re in Florence. She’s created a lifestyle that allows time with her kids and work that gives her that creative outlet and social satisfaction of showing visitors the best that Florence has to offer. Lisa Brancatisano was born in Melbourne, Australia to an Italian father and English mother. She first travelled to Florence in 1993 to learn Italian where she also learned to paint with watercolour. Lisa studied fashion design and has worked in the fashion industry for over 30 years both in Melbourne & Florence but In 2016, she created the This Tuscan Life lifestyle magazine which celebrates the best of everything & everyone in Tuscany. In 2020 she returned to painting and has since received commissions for family and pet portraits, corporate logos, as well as Florence and Tuscan landscapes. Lisa also offers This Tuscan Life Experiences, including food, fashion and artisan walks. She lives in Florence with her husband Emiliano and two sons, Matteo and Thomas.
