52-Valeria Koopman on Consciousness and Changing the World

from New Ways of Being · host Raymond Posch

In this episode, my guest is Valeria Koopman, podcaster, author, and founder of Fit for Joy: Garden of Well-Being, a non-profit which includes a new Joylab healing center in Kaua'i Hawaii. We had a wonderful conversation about consciousness, awakening, healing, and much more. She told her story of how suffering and trauma drove her to learn about her whole self (body, mind, and spirit) and to reach out to others to learn more. Along the way, she began her widely-known podcast and wrote 4 books. She said that a key in finding well-being is not to use spirituality as an escape but rather to take a wholistic view of oneself. She said that suffering occurs when you focus only on the small limited self, and it will dissolve when you become more awake, aware, alive, free, and especially when you come to know ourself as an expression of the divine. Then we can become healthy and whole in body, mind, and spirit. We are here to share, be part of community, and serving the greater whole. Learn more about Valeria at FitforJoy.org and her podcast A Quest for Well-Being. Learn about me at RaymondPosch.com, and email me at [email protected]. Love yourself always, and choose to awaken!
