#52 Why Personal Development and the 6 Figure Business is NOT the Answer

I get it! I'm a self-confessed self-development junkie. From my early 20's, I craved seminars, courses, books, podcasts anything that would help me "fill the gap" I'm grateful for this but I have also recently realised from my own experience and witnessing my clients go through it that Personal Development can be a distraction from what's really happening deep inside of you. Subconsciously, I felt fundamentally flawed and was doing it all to "improve myself". Now when I choose PD, it comes from a different place. Not because I'm "not good enough" and have to be better but as an addition to an already fascinating, full, and flourishing life. Often filling our brain with so much content- podcasts, audiobooks, seminars we forget to tune in and listen to our own "knowing" to take time to sit with our deepest self and ask for guidance. Now when I drive instead of double-timing the audio I turn everything off and listen to ME. YOU are the guru of your life. Not me, not Tony Robbins or John Demartini, not the Secret or The richest man in Babylon. YOU !!!!! Also noticing so many online courses and coaches promising to get you to the 6 figure business, which is GREAT but not worth it if you are exhausted, hustling, grinding, your body and relationship breaking down and it's not sustainable as people are trying to make quick money. If you want more money, a better business, flourishing relationships, a fit healthy body START WITHIN. Do the internal work and the above will be a reflection of how you feel about yourself... That way - when you get the thing that you THINK you want. You are feeling FULL and excited about YOU and not just the external results. When you listen and connect to the wisdom in you:  ✅YOUR BUSINESS WILL BOOM ✅YOUR BODY WILL CHANGE ✅YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WILL FLOURISH All before you make a sales call, do a workout or go on a date. This I can promise YOU! An interesting paradox as I use a podcast to help you stop listening to podcasts hahahaha.  Once you have listened, turn it off and LISTEN TO YOU.  She/he is wiser than me for YOU.
