#522 - Floating Collective

Mick Utley, Erin McAnally and Brendan Mayer of the Floating Collective are special guests on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Mailboat Records musicians and recording artists, the Floating Collective have recently released their debut single, entitled "On the Run." Inspired by the "Laurel Canyon" sound, the band combines evocative lyrics and great harmonies. It's an exhilarating song.

These three musicians and songwriters grew up the children of accomplished musicians. Their fathers are songwriters, skilled instrumentalists and recording artists and are all longtime members of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band.

What is immediately observable is the fondness and respect the members of the Floating Collective have for one another. It made for a very comfortable, relaxing interview. The goal seemed to be communication without ego.

The Floating Collective undoubtedly has great music in store for us, sure to captivate music fans. Whether on recordings or in concert, the Floating Collective is certain to get your attention and imagination. They're right here on The Paul Leslie Hour, and I couldn't be happier.

The Paul Leslie Hour - Helping People Tell Their Stories is a talk show with new episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Some of the most iconic people of all time drop in to chat. Frequent topics include Arts, Entertainment and Culture.

The Paul McGregor Podcast Paul McGregor On the 4th March 2009, my life changed forever. My Dad, the man I looked up too, the man who in my eyes had 'everything' on paper took his own life. After it happened I struggled to deal with the grief, I buried the pain and found myself asking the question 'why' over and over again. I too then found myself struggling with depression and anxiety. This Podcast is all about documenting not only my own personal journey to discovering more about mental health and suicide, but to also document other stories too. It's time to talk about mental health, it's time to give it the voice it deserves and hopefully this Podcast can provide that. Hopefully this Podcast helps show others that they're not alone...Paul McGregor is an author, lecturer, a mental health advocate, husband, Father of 2 and avid Liverpool supporter. He shares daily content, giving mental health a voice across multiple social platforms and through speaking and workshops across the UK.<p style='color:grey; THE PAUL HALME AUDIO ADVENTURE Paul Halme Business, Fitness and Fun!
