53: Architect Jay Blasi

What's life like for an up-and-coming golf course designer working to make a name for himself? Jay Blasi, who's done some outstanding public and private work in California, walks through a life in the industry. Jay worked on Chambers Bay ahead of it hosting the U.S. Open, and has most recently transformed a clunky routing at Poppy Ridge, a beloved Bay Area public facility, into a walking golfer's paradise.
