53. Bim

This week Seb and Verity are joined by vocal powerhouse, Bim. If you’ve listened to chart music over the last five years you will have undoubtably heard Bim’s voice - she’s sung backing vocals for artists including Jessie Ware, Dua Lipa, Mabel and Bastille - she’s featured vocalist on their track Joy - as well as being one of the vocalists for drum and bass act High Contrast. Bim chats about her journey into singing, musical influences, Glastonbury memories, vocal steaming and speed learning songs plus complex choreography......ooof! They discuss Bim’s royal connections - as co-coordinator of The Kingdom Choir for Harry and Meghan’s wedding and singing for musical royalty, Sir Elton of John on the new Lion King film soundtrack. Think Rhinestone tracksuits and military precision (you can decide who goes with which). This conversation includes background sound effects courtesy of Champagne Garden’s constructions - Verity’s nemesis - and Seb destroying a garden chair. Slick as ever.
