Trudy Lindblade is the chief executive of the 2023 World Cycling Championships, in Glasgow and across Scotland from 3-13 August this summer. She tells us the multi cycling event is in affect 13 World Championships all at once, and it'll be held every 4 years in different countries and cities, why she loves living in Scotland having never been there before, the challenge Brexit is posing bringing in staff and the story of being interviewed and accepting the role in the middle of the pandemic, all on zoom, before then moving her family across the world from Australia.
