In this episode of the Ben & Bergs podcast, I share a personal story about how I built my investment portfolio from scratch. Despite not being born into wealth and having to share a bunk bed with my brother until I was 18, I had a strong conviction in Bitcoin and crypto assets and believed it would change the world. To enter the market, I used a boring dollar-cost-averaging strategy with any spare money I had and invested in Bitcoin nearly every week for six years. Then, once I built up my Bitcoin, I added some risk and invested in the Metaverse, DeFi, and NFTs. My simple but effective strategy has returned over $1M from buying good assets and holding for long periods. So, if you want to build your investment portfolio and don't have much money initially, start small, automate your buys, and invest in good assets for the long term.
