In this episode, our next guest shares their experiences of interrupting violence by sheer presence. Our next guest has been in this industry since 1999 when he joined CeaseFire. The Violence Interrupters have been volunteering their time on the CTA trains to mitigate violence on the front-end. Violence is a learned behavior that can be unlearned. To stop violence, we need to change individual, group, and community behaviors.
