Allie Rowbottom is the author of JELL-O GIRLS: A FAMILY HISTORY (Little, Brown). Her essays can be found in Vanity Fair, Salon, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She has taught fiction and non-fiction at the University of Houston and CalArts and holds a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston.
