54- “Everyone with a small business is figuring everything out on a daily basis” Crafty Cookiers with Alicia B.
from The Small Towns, Big Dreams Podcast · host Beki Waples
It’s the final episode of Season 3—and of 2024! I’m thrilled to have you along for the journey over these three incredible seasons, and I’m wrapping up the year with a fun and inspiring guest. Alicia from Crafty Cookiers has been on my radar since the very beginning, and I’m so excited to share her story! Alicia’s story is such a fun one – she went from autopsies to cookies! She began her cookie journey while she was studying in England. When she returned to Canada in early 2020, her cookies became a creative outlet during the pandemic—and a delicious treat for the rest of us! What started as a small operation has grown into something extraordinary. Alicia now has her own cookie-making kitchen, complete with a 3D printer, a cookie printer, a renovated mixer, and more. You can find her delightful creations online, at markets, and I even had the chance to order custom cookies for a few events, and they were a hit—especially the PYO (paint your own) cookies, which were a favorite with kids and adults! Alicia also hosts cookie decorating parties, which sounds like the perfect activity for the new year. Let’s make it happen—who’s in?
