#54 - Led by The Spirit or Led Astray? (Dr. Shaw)

Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise - Prov. 20:1.  Dr. Mark E. Shaw opens with this verse in today's podcast. He discusses how the desire for any kind of selfish pleasure-seeking leads to despair, unhappiness, and unwise living.  As Christians, we are not to partner with evil and darkness. Instead, we are to walk as children of light.  Eph 5:18-19 says, And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Dr. Shaw speaks about being a life that is led by the Holy Spirit brings glory to God, blessing those around you, and how to be that person!
