from ENGLISH TALKS for beginners · host LUKELIKE

Luke Likes 'Weekend'Weekend, weekend. Did you, did you have, did you, did you, did you have a good weekend? I did, I think I did. Did you? Did you have, did you have a good weekend? What did you do at the weekend? How did you, how did you spend, how did you spend the weekend? Me, I had quite a nice weekend, I had quite a nice weekend. The weather was not, wasn't, was not the best, the best, but it wasn't, it wasn't, it was not, it wasn't a problem, it wasn't.And were you at home or were you away? Were you at home or were you away for the weekend, for the weekend? I stayed, I stayed at home. I was at home. I wasn't away at the weekend, I stayed at home and it was, it was fun, it was fun, And I hope that was, that was fun for you too, at the weekend.Did you do some sport at the weekend? Did you do, did you do? Me, I did, I did. I went out, I went out for a run, I went out for a run, and it was, it was amazing, it was amazing. I felt, feel, felt, I felt very good, and also the next day on Sunday, the next day, I did workout, I did workout. So quite an active, quite an active weekend. I didn't play any sport, unfortunately I didn't. Did you? Did you play football? Did you play tennis? Did you go dancing? Did you do yoga? Oh that's, that's nice. And did you watch, did you watch anything? Did you watch, did you watch a series? Did you watch a series or a movie? Or did you go to the cinema, did you go to the cinema? I watched just a bit, just a bit in the evening, and I have to say that was enough, that was enough for me.And maybe did you watch, did you follow, did you follow the news? Did you follow the news? Because I did, I did, unfortunately. Nothing, nothing positive, nothing positive. So I did, I did, I watched, I watched some news, I followed the news, but there was nothing positive. So my mood, my mood was down, my mood was down because of that,Did you visit your family? Did you see your friends? Did you go out and hang out with your cousins, neighbours, schoolmates, people from work, somebody you know? I did, I did. I saw my family at the weekend. We had, we had a nice dinner together. That was nice, that was nice. And did you get enough sleep? Because the weekend is a very good time to catch up on, to catch up on sleep, so try and get back, get back just a bit of this sleep that you lost over the week. By the way, I'm not sure if this is possible, if this works this way. But I did, I did, I had some sleep. I could, can, could, I could sleep longer on Sunday, on Sunday, so I got some rest, the rest that I needed, I needed. But on Saturday I didn't do that, because I had work to do, I had work to do, and I had quite a busy day. Did you have a busy day on Saturday? Maybe Sunday too? Did you have to, did you have to work at the weekend? Did you have to work at night maybe? Did you have to work at night, because you work night shifts? Which is pretty bad, pretty hard to do. But maybe you had some time, you had some time. So did you have some time? Did you spend this time learning? Did you spend this time learning and listening to the podcast and practicing your English? Hmm, that's a good question. But the weekend is always, always a fantastic, fantastic time to do that, and to catch up on your sleep fast, also catch up on the episodes, the episodes of your favorite podcast, and maybe a bit of studying too. Yeah, I hope you did, I hope you did. Okay, time for the new week to come.Well, it's your turn now.
