On WIN Without Competing! Dr. Arlene will interview Phil Boyce who sets the standard in selecting the top American Radio talk show hosts. Prior to joining TRN, Boyce programmed WABC Radio shows as well as nationally syndicated ABC Radio shows. At WABC, he hired Sean Hannity in 1997 and moved him to PM drive in New York in January 1998, just in time for the Monica Lewinsky scandal. He was off to the races. Ironically Boyce syndicated him nationwide on September 10th, 2001. We all know what happened the next day. Hannity’s program has been called “the fastest growing Radio show in modern Talk Radio history”. Today, Hannity is heard on over 500 stations. Boyce discovered and hired Mark Levin at WABC and syndicated him in February, 2006. Levin is now on over 200 stations. Moreover, Boyce syndicated Matt Drudge after he broke the Lewinsky scandal. At TRN Boyce supervises 15 shows heard on over 800 radio stations across the country. The hosts include Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, Mancow, Jerry Doyle, Rusty Humphries, Phil Hendrie, and America's Morning News. Over the years, Boyce has demonstrated that he can not only pick the Right Fit talk show hosts but also fire the Wrong Fits, if he cannot fix the fit. He has received numerous honors for his programming achievements. Notably, Boyce is a five-time Radio Ink Magazine honoree, as one of the top ten Major Market Program Directors in America. Join Dr. Arlene as she uncovers how Boyce climbed the career ladder beginning at age 14 in a 1,000 watt AM daytime religious Radio station in Pueblo, Colorado to the President of TRN Syndications and the President of TRN Programming. Boyce resides in New York City.
