55,000 Students Left Out of SHS Placement — Fair or Unfair?

Before we decide that 55,000 students are not ready for SHS, shouldn’t we first ask whether every child has had the same quality of education and learning opportunities across Ghana? With thousands of BECE candidates left out of SHS placement after failing either English Language or Mathematics, concerns are growing over whether the decision takes into account the different educational realities across the country.
